Just Heather

While I’m normally wife, mom, sister, friend and any number of other titles, on my personal blog, I’m just Heather. It’s all about me—my hopes & dreams, my journey to cross off my 40×40 list and whatever else pops into my head.

Babble.com’s The New Home Ec

Babble.com is an online resource for parents, with content on several topics that features simple, honest advice for a new generation of parents. On The New Home Ec, I babble about personal finance, frugal living tips and money saving ideas for moms.

Miscellaneous Mom

Working mom, stay at home mom, work at home mom—the label doesn’t really matter. We’re all slugging away, trying not to screw things up. On this site, my bestie and I share our tips, tricks, thoughts and rants on motherhood. Plus, we excel at Mom Fail Friday!

Colts Stuff

I’m mostly a social sports fan—I prefer the events with friends & family cheering around me. In this family? That means the Indianapolis Colts top the list! We have multiple jerseys, signed footballs and attend training camp each year.

Our Kids. True story.

This one is not so much my project, but it is made by me. You won’t see me writing here, but you might see me in some of the writing. All blogging is done by our girls, ages 5 through teen—their work, their writing, their words. And, mistakes. It’s a work in progress—as our the child writers. Then again, aren’t we all?

Back to School Resource

I love Back to School season—I picture “bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils” and smiling kids with new backpacks over their shoulder. This new(ish) site hasn’t gotten my full attention yet, but it’s fun & full of potential.
